Hosting Melbourne Symphony Orchestra talks in 2021: Ears Wide Open

February 22, 2021 Panels 0

This year I’m working with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and hosting a few talks in their Ears Wide Open series.

This first will be on Monday 29th March, with guests collaborating on Wata: a Gathering for Manikay Performers, Improvising Soloists and Orchestra: renowned Wagilak songmen from Arnhem Land, brothers Daniel Ngukurr Boy Wilfred and David Yipininy Wilfred, MSO’s 2021 Composer in Residence, Paul Grabowsky AO, with Peter Knight and Aviva Endena from the Australian Art Orchestra.

Join us as we explore – through story, conversation and song – the culture, country and music of Wata.
